Hello Dubai

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli surprised his fans by sharing his first pic from Dubai on Friday evening. He wasn't seen in any of the social media posts by RCB and the fans were correct when they speculated that Kohli didn't travel with the other members of the team. Just a few minutes after RCB's players landed in UAE, Kohli shared a post from Dubai and confirmed that he has landed for IPL 2020. As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Kohli boarded a private chartered plane due to bio-safety issues. He was in self-isolation back home for nearly five months and did not want to risk himself by travelling to Bengaluru. Mumbai is one of the worst-hit cities with COVID-19. “He had quarantined himself in Mumbai and also tested himself for Covid-19. So he could not come to Bangalore. He flew alone by a charter flight from Mumbai,” a spokesperson was quoted as saying by Mumbai Mirror. Of course, he took COVID-19 tests before flying to Dubai. I am very confident about my captaincy

I am very confident about my captaincy

I am very confident about my captaincy

I have a pattern of captaincy I was following (it) against both Zimbabwe and West Indies; I will try to work on those plans with my bowlers and teammates. My effort would be to keep the players as comfortable as possible on the field. I would help them bowl according to their field placements. As they evolve in a healthy, confident environment, it would be good for the team and their confidence.I’m not comparing myself with anyone, but I am very confident about my captaincy as I have already led India and in the IPL also. I have confidence I can bring out each player’s ability fully and also give them a lot of confidence… I would like to stick to what I know best and what I have confidence in. If you believe in something, and in your players’ abilities, then your plans end up being on the right side. There is lot of inexperience in the team, but I look at it as an exciting opportunity because whenever a player comes into the team, he is inexperienced. It takes time for him to grow and you need a big tournament where if you perform better, your confidence level can change. If you see in the middle order, Ajinkya Rahane is there, Ambati Rayadu is there, and Dinesh Karthik has got another chance, so these players would be obviously eager. If they perform good in such a big tournament, their confidence level will increase, which for an international cricketer is very important. For me, it seems to be quite an exciting phase, because people are saying they are inexperienced, but if we win and if we are able to do something special in this tournament, as we have done in the Champions Trophy, after that the players had become very confident. So we will try in such a big tournament that everybody performs, especially inexperienced ones. If they are able to perform well on this platform, it would be very good.

MS Dhoni's international retirement has left many shattered. While the whole cricketing fraternity was expecting this decision to come out in the open someday in the near future, Dhoni once again managed to surprise many by abruptly ending his international career via an Instagram post on Saturday evening (August 15).Dhoni ended his Team India career comprising 90 Tests, 350 ODIs and 98 T20Is. The charismatic wicket-keeper batsman created a niche for himself due to his power-hitting, fitness, fast stumpings, finishing skills as well as his tactical and instinctive decision-making as a leader of the national side (from 2007-2016). "The second one is about the kind of trust & chemistry we had over the years while batting together. In this moment I was only focused on his call & I knew we both would be able to make those 2 runs because of the trust we shared in one another. He called & I put my head down and ran! "Mutual respect and understanding isn't a thing of chance, it develops naturally when two individuals are aligned & have the same vision and for us, that vision was always to make India win ! Thank you for all these memories skip." "The second one is about the kind of trust & chemistry we had over the years while batting together. What you've done for the country will always remain in everyone's heart, but the mutual respect and warmth I've received from you will always stay in mine. The world has seen achievements, I've seen the person. Thanks for everything skip.
